Starting April 16thTracy's Downtown will be filled with fresh produce, flowers, breads and people. The Tracy Farmer's Market started April 16th and runs through October. The Farmer's Market is open on Saturdays from 9 - 1.
Additionally this year, on Wednesday night in the City Center Plaza on 10th and East Street, in front of City Hall by the Fountan will be another opportunity to purchase fresh produce. This Wednesday night Farmer's Market will begin on May 11th from 4 - 8 p.m.
Both Farmers markets are PCFMA, Pacific Coast Farmers Market Association markets. PCFMA is a non profit organization that is committed to providing Californians with local, fresh products. You may find fruit, vegetables, greens, nuts, herbs, berries, eggs, flowers, nursery plants and honey at a PCFMA Farmers Market.
Certified Farmer's Markets are certified by the County Ag Commissioner. All products must be sold directly to the consumer rather than a distributor or retailer. All produce must be sold where it is produced OR in an area certified by the County Ag Commissioner.
Come on out on Saturday mornings and stroll 10th Street between Central and B, enjoy the fresh air and pick up some produce. You won't have to buy produce for the week, as you'll be able to refresh your produce on Wednesday nights at the City Center Plaza.
