Anita - Great cause and I hope you raise a lot of money! I love books and spend a fortune in bookstores!  My husband has asked me if I want a Kindle and I always say no because there's something about holding a real book and turning the pages - I just refuse to give them up!

Anita, To me, there will never be a substitute for a good book!  No batteries to run out, and would you ever use a Kindle to kill a bug?? :)

Good morning Anita,

Great event and hopefully lots of money will be raised! I love books and resisted the Kindle but won a new one at Rain Camp and found out I love it! When I'm traveling I can carry 6-10 books on my Kindle and carry in my purse..so much easier and I can control the font size!!

Anita, Also trying not to get a Kindle. Don't know, but it just seems like it wouldn't be the same as holding onto an actual book. Like that the event is a fundraiser!
