I work for YOU!  It's okay to tell me what you're thinking!

As your Wrightsville Beach Buyer's Agent I'm working for you.  I'm looking out for your best interests, not mine or the Sellers.  Finding the right home for you is my priority and focus. 

Picture of statueWhen we're looking at homes, and you find one you like, it's okay to tell me.  You don't need to play it close to the vest.  I am working FOR you, and what we discuss is confidential and will not be used against you in any way.  Knowing what you're thinking is important to getting you what you want.

You may wish to discuss your thoughts with one another before you share them with me, and that's understandable.  But if you really like a home, it's okay to tell me.  That won't hurt your chances of making it your home.

I work FOR you and toward your goals.  The goal of finding a home you love and can comfortably afford, is my goal -- my only goal.  Sure, my salary depends on closing sales -- there's no secret there.  And, the more you spend the more I make -- still, no secret there, either.  But you've engaged me to represent your best interests and I have a fiduciary responsibility to you.  Remember how we talked about my business philosophy?  I want you as a Client for Life.  That means I really want to get you the biggest bang for your buck!  If I encourage you to max-out your spending dollars, chances are that's it;  we're done and you won't be back.  You probably won't be sending me any referrals and I can almost bet, you won't call me when you're ready to sell.

So tell me what you're thinking.   If this is a home you can see yourself in, tell me and let me do my job in helping you make your dream a reality.

Gene - It's odd how so many buyers don't feel like they can trust their BA.  I have heard so many of my borrowers over the years complain about their BA.  My first question is always, "why did you select them"?  Just amazing how so little thought and consideration that some buyers put into selecting their BA.  Just some rambling thoughts I had when reading this post.
