With much applause we welcomed this reduction in the New Hampshire unemployment rate.
NH's unemployment rate has held well below the national average during the downturn.
Gov. John Lynch released a statement calling April's unemployment rate "tremendous news for our workers, our businesses and our state . . . as we continue to lead the nation in economic recovery."
"The reason New Hampshire is outperforming virtually every other state is because we have a successful economic strategy in place," Lynch said.
As the jobs situation improves and home buyers feel more confident about their job security, this is translating into more home sales for New Hampshire.
Buyers need to jump in and take advantage of the great home prices and opportunities while these interest rates are still low.
