What Are You Writing On The Blank Wall Of Your Life Today?

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty 0575737

CreativityA few things over at Facebook I smile at. One is the reminder for your "friends" birthdays which is very cool to have that handy. It is a privilege getting older cause many are not so lucky. Also the concept of writing on other's Walls, humorously thinking back to the blank walls with etchings in the Cave Man days. So,

What Are You Writing On The Blank Wall Of Your Life Today?

So often I have thought with each sunrise afforded us in business and our personal lives we get "another chance" to get it right.

Add more kindnesses than before, be more efficient or effective, be more creative. In reality we really do have another blank page in our book. We turn the page in our life every single day.

What frustrates me about both myself and even others dealing with me is "lost time." When we are not at our best, when we are estranged from one another, when we are "stuck" somehow in the middle between where we are and where we want to get to. Days of extreme hardship even. But even if life circumstances and the uncontrollables are written all around the margins of you page, or there is that person who you can't make amends with (yet) you still have a fairly big chunk of writing space in the middle of the blank page TO MAKE YOUR MARK.

Truly we create our day. We create our happiness. We create our life. One page at a time. Our life is the sum total of those individual days added up. What you do in your life today is your life. Do we waste some of that time? It is inevitable since we don't get it right every day. But hopefully with some good thought at the beginnning of each day or the night before, you get better and better at this "creative writing."

Your life was designed to be a masterpiece work of art, not a dime store novel.

Gary, You make an excellent point, in a passionate way.  I believe that every day brings a new opportunity.  I do not dwell in the past.  I learn from the past and keep moving forward. Having already lost so much time, makes my remaining time that much more precious.  Thank you for sharing and best wishes always.

Love it, Gary.  Thanks.  Sometimes, though, wasted time can be a gift.  However, maybe there is no such thing as "wasted time".  If you're doing nothing, it isn't necessarily "wasted", right?

Gary,

I really like this:

"What frustrates me about both myself and even others dealing with me is "lost time." When we are not at our best, when we are estranged from one another, when we are "stuck" somehow in the middle between where we are and where we want to get to. Days of extreme hardship even. Great writers know you work on a chapter until it's finshed, until you can do no more with it, until every addtional word takes away from it. Then you start the next chapter builsding on those tagh came before. Great people live the same way!

It's a great life!

Bill

No wonder you are an ambassador....I recall a line from Jerry MacGuire about "the Ambassador of Quan" (my spelling!)...it was Cuba Gooding, Jr's character's version of goodness, which he was trying to teach Jerry. You've got it. You're teaching it.  Every day!

Gary, Life has many challenges, and sometimes we fail, but I try not to waste time, and learn from all my mistakes.  You said it all in your last paragraph. We create our own life each day. We may not get it right each day either, but we come back and try again. Life is a long process of all our combined actions.

It's A Great Day!

Gary the timing of your posted subjects is amazing, I just spoke with another agent today that this would really benefit and I'm going to forward it to her.

I believe in making every day count because it is a blessing and opportunity, as for the wasted time: as long as it's with the people I enjoy.

Memo on blank wall of today would be:

A)"I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me"

B) Don't waste today regretting anything you cannot change

C) Last but not least I look in the mirror and tell the woman looking back that she is a beautiful child of God worthy of unconditional love and acceptance. Then I smile and say Thank you Lord for this beautiful day you blessed me with.

This is one of your best ones yet Gary.  You were on my mind this morning.  My central air died and one of the salesman came this morning and he is a dead ringer for you!  There's a thought.  I have to go google dead ringer to see why we use that expression.  I am off to write the story of my very hot day without central air!  Enjoy!
