Motivational Power Quote

Our Attitude is a Choice

"The only disability in life is a bad attitude."

Scott Hamilton, Olympic Gold Medalist

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Our attitude is a choice

A person's attitude will allow them to scale the highest of mountains or to walk in the depth of a rut. What they choose to do is a personal choice. Where they end up in life is a result of their attitude and their choices.

People suffer massive setbacks and failure and they choose to get up and dust themselves off and try again. They have made of choice of not giving up. They have made the choice to push forward past their obstacles.

It's not a question if we will suffer through setbacks and failure. It a question of how often and how nasty the setbacks and failure are.

We may not be able to control the outer conditions in our lives but we can control the internal condition of our thinking and our attitude.

In a changing and challenging business environment we can't control the world but we can control our attitude and how we respond to the world around us. In having a positive attitude we can focus our efforts on making forward progress.

Some of our days our progress will be measured in inches and on other days it will be measured in feet. It's our attitude that keeps us pushing forward through our obstacles with the belief that we will succeed and reach our objectives.

Our attitude becomes the thin slice of the difference between quitting and pushing forward and success and failure.

Out attitude is a choice and our results are a mirror image of our attitude.

Great reminder.  When we get we chose everything in life, we become responsible, that is something that is hard to find in these times.

Very nice reminder indeed. It really is all about an attitude. Each day we take a deep breath and vow to make it the best day possible. It's really that simple. Don't like your life? Change it. Your life is a reflection of the decisions you make.

Can I just say, "AMEN" Lou?!  I recently read a poll about what type of agents firms were seeking--options in their mind for the perfect agent:  high volume producer (now or in the recent past), knowledge of the area, technology knowledge and understanding or attitude were their optons.  Attitude was the overwhelming winner!  No surprise to me at all.
