Any Ideas?

By
Real Estate Agent with Kim Wilbourn Realty

I am giving away tickets to the "Galaxy of Lights" in Huntsville, Al located at the Botanical Gardens with a $50 Ruby Tuesday's gift card. I made flyers up and have been posting them at all the businesss and putting them on doors. They have to email me or phone me if they would like to register. I started doing this yesterday, and all my past clients have registered so far, and I had one unknown person to register. Does anyone think I will get many people to register? Or will this be a waste of my time. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, Kim, that sounds like a great idea.  Even if you don't get many new people, you're doing something nice for your past clients.  Let us know how it works.

You know it can't hurt.  I think it's a great idea to use this slower time of year to think creatively and do different things to get people to remember you.  And like Karen says, it's always good to keep in touch with your past clients - they are like GOLD for your business!  Good luck!

Anything to get your name out there that is affordable and easy to execute can't hurt.  Being different than your competitors is a good way to get noticed.

Not sure what, if anything, you'll get out of it client-wise but keep us posted.  I'd like to try something like that but in my area people get suspicious of anything 'free' and 'no strings attached.'

Thanks for the motivating thoughts! I hope it will work. I am advertising it in the Real Estate magazines also, and in the paper. Nobody every does anything like this in my area. I wanted to do a Fall Festival for past clients but time slipped up on me to quick. Maybe I will do that next year. I will let everyone know how it goes.
