Entertainment Book -- a wonderful way to discover a city, and a great client gift to newcomers

Discovering a city was never as much fun as following my stomach. Since my significant other and I love to eat it was a simple matter of checking out the restaurants.

Entertainment Book -- that's the way to do it. The nice thing about Entertainment Book, you have a choice of casual and fine dining. And there are discounts for theaters, tourist attractions, grocery stores and various services like laundry. It even has coupons for travel expenses (rental car, accommodations, plane fare).

it makes a wpndeful present to newcomers because it's a delightfyl way to discover a city.

Filled with coupons and discounts, we discovered interesting places to eat and discovered the city and other things along the way. It really pays off quite handsomely. To this day, we still talk about the wonderful restaurants we went to in Orlando, Dallas, San Francisco and more.

Soon after moving to Dallas, we decided to get an Entertainment Book, and looked for brunch. Found the best brunch in town at InterContinetal Hotel. At that time brunch was $35 per person. With the coupon, we got two for the price of one. So the Entertainment Book paid for itself on the first occasion.

In Orlando FL, we got a book every year and discvered so many fabulous restaurants such as Chez Vincent.

Happily....now that we're in the Bay area, there are so much more to choose from!

Can't wait to try out the Zagat-rated  La Scene Cafe & Bar in San Francisco at Warwick International Hotel.

Here's a snapshot of what one can expect. In this economy, who doesn't want a deal?

Yes, I love Entertainment and other coupon books for myself and for clients. Thanks for the headsup on the good deal.

Great idea!  I used the Entertainment Book myself several years ago and it went off the radar for me.  Thanks for the reminder!

Michelle --- I find that after just 1 or 2 fine dining experiences, the book has already paid for itself.

Eric -- Just took advantage of this offer myself. Immediately got an email where there are special coupons for special deals. They've definitely improved!

Peggy --- there was a time our local association even offered discounts to buy the books as client gifts. I've always liked to give them especially for folks who are new to the aea, or are buying their first home. I point out the various discounts for attractions (theater tickets, tourist places), services (dry cleaners for example). It isn't all about food, although for me, food is the number one draw.

Have a good one!
