Your Mental Health Depends On It!

Listen Up LA, NYC, Chicago, and All My Other Big City Friends It's Time to Move to the Raleigh/ Cary/ Apex Area Your Mental Health Depends On It!

Yes, my friends from the concrete jungle, it's true!

You NEED to get out of the city!

A recent study, "City Life Could Change Your Brain for the Worse" suggests that city life can set one's brain on edge. The study discovered that city dwellers have higher levels of anxiety and mood disorders than their suburban counterparts.

Perhaps it's all the noise or the crowds that are causing you to go loopy in LA, nutty in New York or crazy in Chicago.

Whatever the case, it's time to move to the peaceful confines of the

Raleigh/ Cary/ Apex area of North Carolina.

You can begin the search for your new home at www.justNChomes.com.

Do it now! Your mental health depends on it!

I don't know Craig. You camefrom NYC, and you're inviting us to do the same, and then our hair will look like that too?  Very scary thought.

Craig ~ Thanks for reminding the folks it's time to slow down the pace in your area so your buyers aren't stressed when they move from the city to the peaceful surroundings of Cary, Raleigh and Apex ~

Craig ~  Great timing on this suggestion.  After 2 trips into LA in the last week, I'm ready for some SMALL TOWN quiet!  There's so much of the country I've never experienced, it would be hard for me to pick a new place if I wasn't planning to stay where I'm at.  Amazing how we stay where we are mostly just because it's what we KNOW.

~ Melanie

Havng lived in the city I get this, but I still love the vibrancy of city life, BUT also enjoy the quieter suburban life as long as there is access to the city. I have worked with buyers who have distinct preferences - guess you have to go with what feels right no matter WHAT the studies say.

Hi Craig!  I am always dazzled by your creative blogs!  This one is RIGHT ON.  I consider the Triangle to be the Baby Bear of places to live.  I'm from Florida, so I like it because it's cooler; people from Up North like it because it's warmer. Now you're saying it's not too big -- but at the same time, let me point out that it's not too small.  Our little big city amenities include such perks as the NC State Art Museum, several theaters, and a hockey team.  It's all good!

Hmmm Craig, Although we know from you, Mr. NC Realtor, that Raleigh/Cary/Apex would be a great place to relocate, however looking at your photo, one would have to wonder about your "brain cells" escaping!

Craig, All those city dwellers need your help. They would be soooo much happier in suburbia.

Judy - Well you just have to love home... wherever it is. And, you're always welcome to visit... obligation free!

Susan - This is truly a great place to clall home. But I've been to Fair Oaks and it's no slouch either!

Emily - Sounds to me like you have the best of both worlds in your neck of the woods!

Amy - I'll leave the lights on and a key under the mat for you Amy. You guys are welcome anytime.

Sharon - Come on down Sharon! There's plenty to do here in the Raleigh/ Cary/ Apex area and the weather's great too!

Wanda - I know you live in a location where you don't have to worry about losing your mind!

Michael - Exactly! That's why people NEED to work with me... to protect their sanity!

Nick - I do love Chicago, LA and especially NYC. But those places can make you nuts after a while.

Laura - I need to save what little I have left in the way of brain cells Laura! That's why I moved here!

Kristine - I would be honored to call you neighbor! Wait until you do consider the move. You'll be amazed at the home prices and quality of life compared where you are now.

Tom - And I would have thought it was some of those scorching licks by Alex Lifeson that would have had the cows rocking!

Ed - Ed, at our age we're just lucky to have hair... no matter what it looks like!

Frank & Karen - And when they move here, I'll send them to you guys and Amy for a 2nd home at the beach!

Melanie - People do get a sense of comfort where they are. But if they're ready to make the move, this is a great place to consider.

Jeff - When it comes time to choose where to call home, it doesn't matter what anyone says. It's what your heart tells you that matters.

Kathleen - Come on back Kathleen. We miss you! It hasn't been the same since you left!

Dianne - I couldn't have possibly included in one post all that there is to do and all that this area has to offer in our "big" little city! You know the deal. You live here. It's a GREAT place to call home.

Larry & Sheila - I think most of them are still there. Check it out. Let me know if you think so too....

Donna - I'd debate you if I felt you were wrong Donna!

Craig: Just a reminder that you left your hatch open after the last comment. N.C. is a very interesting place.  I spent a couple of years there but prefer the climate in California for now.
