Greenville SC Falls Park on The Reedy River

Downtown Greenville SC has a young, hip vibe flowing through the city with nearly as much force as the Reedy River does as it flows at Greenville's West End. Here you will find Falls Park, an expansive greenspace showcasing a beautiful waterfall.

Falls Park on the Reedy provides countless ways to pass a weekend afternoon. Paved trails follow the river below and slope sharply as the river begins its dramatic descent over a wide array of rocks piled about 30 feet high.

Looming above Reedy River Falls is the Liberty Bridge. This 355-foot-long pedestrian suspension bridge soars high above the river as it curves away from the falls. From the middle you get one of the best views of Reedy River Falls and the park's beautiful gardens. This $4.5-million bridge is the only one of its kind in the U.S.

Falls Park is the definition of an oasis. Situated in the middle of a distinctly urban environment, the park often hides the fact that you are in the middle of a city, providing the perfect retreat. Surrounding the park you will find shops, restaurants, and the Swamp Rabbit Trail, a 13.5-mile path that provides a great way to enjoy Greenville on a bicycle or on foot.

Thinking of moving to Greenville SC? Give us a call or email us today. We would love to help you find your perfect oasis.

Hey Sheila, should we shoot for a weekday or Saturday morning to go out and about in Greenville for our photo shoot?  All I know about Greenville is the Phoenix Inn and Krispy Kreme!  We used to go there twice a year for our outdoor trade shows.  You really showcase your town well in photos and now I want to explore your area.

It might be sooner, but let's start looking at Saturdays in September and settle on a date. Does that sound good to you?

Sheila, that is a very impressive green space in the middle of an urban area. They are great places to "get away from it all" for just a couple of hours. I bet a lot of citizens take advantage of that park.
