Buffini Clubnetters! Any Fall/Holiday Popby Ideas?

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Fran Rokicki Realty, LLC

Looking for more ideas to share with folks. Help to get them face to face with their database, friends and family! I have learned a few good techy tips for my popbys, so, I am feeling a bit more confident.  With all of the good systems that we have at Buffini, this has been my challenge for accomplishment.  I use the techy tips for the tags that are attached to the popby item. My client's have even noticed my upgraded tags;)  I think they are surprised that I learned to make them!  Yes, one of the benefits of these systems is, your clients do get to know you well.  So, come along, share your popby ideas for the end of year!

It's a Good Life!

I just had my first 100 Days to Greatness Class tonight so I don't know what techy tips are.

I know I am planning on doing Boo Bags for most of my clients because they are younger families and the family will love it. I've got some great fall home care tips I am including in as well as some general real estate info that I will tuck into the bag along with the candy and how to play the "Boo Bag" Game.

Next month I am planning on either carmel apple kits or pies. I will have a fun family day myself with the kids at the apple orchard and since I always let them pick way to many I will finally have a use for the extra bushel of apples.

I'd love to hear everyone else's ideas.

Sometimes it's the simplest things that get peoples attention.

Thanks for all the feedback. I really enjoy learning new information from all of your posts.

I am considering a "reverse pop-by" by making our office into a Toys for Tots donation site.  We would send out a postcard in early November encouraging our network members, and then take the donations to the Marines in early December.

I would call it a community drop by with your popby;)  Don't think it would count for your stats of popbys, though. LOL!  You will have a happy Coach, though, you know they love when we participate in our community!  Nice job, Mary!

For Oct I used pumpkins... they cost me about $1.00 each. Passed out around 20. Tag said something like You be sure your referrals will get only treats and no tricks from me...

For December I found a place that makes a 3" Xmas tree ornamant that says "Our New Home 2007" and I can add the client name too. Cost depending upon exact item (there are several) is $6-9.00.

The students at the school my youngest attends make and sell two types of pies at Thanksgiving that are divine - Pumpkin Maple and Bourbon Pecan.  I'll be purchasing several of those to drop off for my clients to enjoy at Thanksgiving.  They are a tad pricey at $10/ea, but they are good, they benefit the school and I'm pretty confident my clients will enjoy them.

Love it!  Pies, how delicious!  School fundraiser, too!  That is the best!  Thanks for sharing!  Oh, and I do hope to meet you at an event, or a region meeting!  The region folks are the best! Have you net any of them, yet?

Fran - No, I haven't met anyone yet!  As a matter of fact, I still have to sign up for a small group!  Can you believe it - a Club Netter since Sept 7th and still no small group???  My coach and I agreed that is an 'action step' this time around ;)

Hi Fran,

I had good success withe the Hot/Cold Bags mention in the Buffini newsletter a while back. I had by printer make some 4x6 cards saying "Whether the market is hot or cold, you can depend on Ken to get your home bought or sold" I gave them out to my contacts had good feedback. I am also just started using their online business directory Ken Jansen Business Directory for my vendors.

Perhaps you could publish the list of popby ideas that you gathered?

Hi Fran,

Last year I delivered a roll of wrapping paper with a tag that said "Just wrapping up the year telling you how much I value you as a client".  I tied two coordinating bows to it.

I did 24 pop-bys the week before Christmas (right when they need emergency wrapping paper!)  It went over really well.  I plan to do it again this year, especially with the new clients I closed this year.

Thanks for the ideas.

Thanks, Paul!  Brian Buffini has taught us to work as a family and it makes a huge difference.  Even though our family is spread across the US, Canada and Europe.  It works!  I do love, sunny San Diego:)
