Pumpkinpatch3_2 Last week my family and I took our first annual pumpkin patch trip! We had a fantastic time on a crisp October day walking through two HUGE u-pick em fields, petting goats, buying fresh produce and taking pictures of this picturesque family farm.  Fall City Farms is my number one choice, but here I have listed many other farms around King County.  Some tips (found out the hard way).  Have cash and shoes that can get muddy!  Get out and enjoy the season!

King County

FALL CITY:  Fall City Farms - pumpkins, Two large u-pick pumpkin patches
Farm open August 1 through October 31. No entrance fee. Thurs.-Monday 10am to 6, Sunday 11-6, closed Tues. and Wed. Aug. 1-September 30. Open daily in October. U-fish weekends April-June and September or call for appt. December weekends for U-cut Christmas trees. Please bring your own shopping bags. Open August 1st through October 31st.

REDMOND:  South 47 Farm - pumpkins, corn maze.  Open: Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., June 13-Oct. 31. Visit our fabulous Corn Maze & pumpkin patch for the best in family fun. Featuring pumpkins for cooking and carving, gourds and decorative items, expanded farmstand, U-pick fruits and vegetables in season.

DUVALL:  Farmers Daughter
- Has pumpkins already picked as well as a patch for you to pick your own.  They also sell fresh produce. The farm provides school tours.  Crops are usually available in October. Open: Open Monday thru Friday on the "honor system", Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The pumpkin patch and stand are open from October 1 to October 31. We are certified organic for all crops! Payment: Cash, Check. A wide variety of pumpkins and gourds available. Bring the family or plan a school tour or field trip. Going on our 15th year of operation, beginning with "The Farmer", and now The Farmer's Daughter!

DUVALL:  Cherry Valley Farms - pumpkin patch.  Self-guided tours of dairy farm with calf barn, milking parlor, market with ice cream and other dairy products, produce, flowers, ciders, jams and jellies, followed by barbecue at 5 pm and old-fashioned barn dance at 7 pm.

CARNATION:  Remlinger Farms

CARNATION:  Two Brothers Pumpkin Patch @ Game Haven Greenery - Open October 7th to the 31st, daily until dusk, and no admission charge. Call for weekday group reservations or more information.A family U-pick pumpkin patch with a large variety of pumpkins, gourds and squash. Also available, mini hay-bales, corn stalks and ornamental corn. Baby cows available for petting. A family pumpkin patch for over 25 years. We follow organic methods, but are not yet certified. CARNATION:  Jubilee Farm - pumpkins, horse-drawn covered-wagon rides, hay rides, hay-bale maze.  Hop on the hay wagon and find a pumpkin in the pumpkin patch! Open 11:00-5:00 every Saturday and Sunday during October:
· Hayrides to the fields for u-pick pumpkins and gourds.
· Lunch and snacks available in the food concession area.
· Farm Market and U-pick flowers open to the public.
· Kid's hay maze in the loft of the barn (no charge).
· Cooking demonstrations.
· Draft horse drawn wagon rides (no charge).
· Pony rides by "Party Ponies" (nominal charge).
· Petting farm.

KENT:  Carpinito Brothers Farm - U-Pick Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze.  Caprinito Brothers farm offers pumpkins, a patch to pick your own, corn maze, prepicked produce, and tractor-pulled hay rides. Open: Daily 9 am to Dusk U-Pick Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze is open September 29th through October 31st. Payment: Cash, Check.

KENT:  Serena Farms - Corn Stalks, Corn Maze, Hay maze, Pumpkin Patch, Wagon Rides

Directions: on the corner of 212th and Orillia Road, just below the airport off of I-5. From I-5, take Orillia Rd. St. exit and turn right until it turns into 212th. Farm is located on the corner of where Orillia Rd. turns into 212th.

KENT:  Whistling Train Farm - pumpkins and many other organic vegetables

AUBURN: Mosby Brothers Farms - pumpkins, pumpkin patch- already gathered from the field, prepicked produce, restrooms, picnic area, tractor-pulled hay rides.  Crops are usually available in May, June, July, August, September, October. Open: The Pumpkin Patch is open during October from 10 am to dark (weather permitting). Groups are welcome, but please call ahead for an appointment! Our Fresh Produce Stand is located across the street from the main farm facility and is open from May through September, 7 days a week from 9am to 6pm. Payment: Cash, Check. Mosby Brothers Farms, Inc has been in business since 1977 supplying the local restaurant and grocery markets with seasonal hand harvested items - such as: beets, leeks, green beans, zucchini, yellow summer squash, cucumbers and hard winter squash, ie. Danish acorn, delica, butternut, etc. Our Fresh Produce Stand features a full line of local crops as well as selected items from Eastern Washington, Oregon and California. All products that we carry are individually inspected for quality and freshness and are guaranteed! We have weekly specials, case pack prices, and special orders are always welcome! A wide variety of pumpkins, gourds, wheat, ornamental corn and sunflowers are grown. Dried floral, fall, evergreen Christmas and pussy willow wreaths and swags are also available. We use only materials that grown and harvested from the farm.
