The folks at Credit Sesame have a neat interactive chart that shows how the states compare in terms of property taxes — as both a percentage of income and of average home value. For Virginians we are right in the middle of the tax scale.

Very cool chart....and we are up there....we knew that....there are people who will trade higher property taxes for higher quality in education....and other features of the Badger State.  Good information !
