You can live life and have an adventure doing it or you can just exist. You can wait for the new day to come or your can run to meet it. SEIZE THE DAY should be your battle cry and your flag should fly high. Why? Life is upon you and there is so much to be done. The purpose of life is to live a life of purpose. It is as simple as that
THERE IS SOMETHING YOU CAN DO
Instead of shrugging your shoulders when something is presented to you and throwing up your hands saying "what can you do', try responding with another question in the form of a challenge unto your self like What CAN you do instead. Then, run toward your problem to solve it and or handle it.
We were not put here to keep track of time or be defeated. Learning how to navigate and suck marrow out of all you are doing makes sense if you are not to return this way again. There is this silly little song that Bugs Bunny used to sing that when I heard it, It was like the "Carpe Diem" of its day, but what did I know? I am a kid and I just liked the song
It goes like this....da dada da da...
Overture, curtain, lights,
This is it, the night of nights
No more rehearsing and nursing our parts
We know every part by heart
Overture, curtain, lights
This is it, we'll hit the heights
And oh what heights we'll hit
On with the show this is it
Tonight what heights we'll hit
On with the show this is it.
THE SHOW IS REALLY ANOTHER WORD FOR "LIFE"
You see it is LIFE that is really showtime is what this says to me. No time to act, think, or wonder. We are on! Now is the time. Whatever you are going to do...get to it! NOW... MOVE and give all you got too. Ready...curtain here we go.....
William Shakespeare said it too.... "the whole world is a stage and men and women are the players"
Oh me. Oh my
To the statement of 'what can you do" with your shoulder shrugging and hands in the air...I have nothing to say
To the challenge of What CAN you do? ...the answer is...everything and anything...
Thank you Bugs, William, and Horace the Roman poet of Carpe Diem (seize the day)
