The following numbers represent the Real Estate Market Review of homes sold for the first seven months of 2011 versus the same period in 2010 for Walnut Creek, CA.

Keep in mind that real estate markets are local in nature and there will be micro markets in every town. Walnut Creek is holding steady in for the year over year comparison with single family homes showing a slight down-tick in unit sales and median price. Attached home sales are almost identical while the lower end sales are dragging down the overall median price.

Doug.....Condo market not so great but Single Family doing OK!!!  LOVE the pictures at the bottom of your Blog....it's fun cause I recognize all the places!!!! 

Have a great weekend.....we're going to Blackhawk Plaza tomorrow night for their tribute Rock Bank!!

Also....did you see that the owner of Sasa in Walnut Creek will be opening 2 places at Blackhawk....the current locations of Laurus and the Sushi place.  LOVE Sasa so hope that is GREAT news of us in Blackhawk area!!!

Dale: The single family space has performed well IMO.

Kathy: The lower end in the attached space is dragging down the median Kathy. You guys have a great weekend as well. I do not know if we will make the concert but I do hear them all clearly from my backyard! I did see that about Sasa and it is good news for the plaza.
