Las Vegas Mortgage Assistance, Principal Reduction & Second Lien Relief Programs VIA Nevada Hardest Hit Funds

Nevada has received money from the US Treasury to provide assistance and relief with the following programs via “Nevada Hardest Hit Funds” program:money

  • Mortgage Assistance Program
  • Principal Reduction Program
  • Short Sale Program
  • Second Lien Relief Program
Several factors to qualify for this program:
  • Owner Occupied
  • Legal US Resident
  • Loan Originated 1/1/2009 or earlier
  • Documented financial hardship
  • Within income limits
  • Facing imminent default
  • Only own 1 property
  • Your servicing company must participate

Renee, I am so happy to see what looks like a viable program making it's way to LV locals.  Other than a NAHAC acronym it was refreshing to not see any attached here.  A pidgeon hole is better than none at all!

Good job of giving folks data they may need to buy a home, refinance or whatever the case maybe. I find in Texas when there are programs the local agencies involved keep everything close to the vest and do not even return phone calls about the program or who qualifies or who does not qualify. I guess they give that information to their friends? It is very strande to me..
