Motivational Power Quote

Your Success Can Be Measured By . . . .

“I have learned that success is to be measured

not so much by position that one has reached in life

as by the obstacles which he has had to overcome

while trying to succeed.”

Brooker T. Washington, educator

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Your success can be measured by . . . .

Success can be measured by . . . . overcoming your obstacles

To reach greater heights of success you have to continue to move in the direction of your goals. The pace of your success journey doesn’t have to be fast to achieve success, but it has to be moving in the right direction.

The position that you reach in life will be a direct reflection of your climb up the success ladder and in your ability to overcome your obstacles.

When you look at the obstacles that a person had to overcome to achieve their success; you look into the measure of the person’s will, their character and in the amount of effort there willing to apply.

Make the commitment to climb the ladder of success and too to reach the top of the ladder and to achieve succeed.

The person that overcomes great obstacles on their success journey reaches great heights.

Use your obstacles as stepping stones on your success journey and not as road blocks.

Success can be measured by overcoming your obstacles.

Agreed...focusing on reaching the height, the other side, the next level is a recipe for success.

Obstacles are like the rungs on a ladder, meant to be overcome one at a time! Enjoy your day!

Lou, What an interesting way of looking at things, but we do learn to grow and become stronger by the obstacles we are faced with in our lives.  Without obstacles we would have no reason to change the things that we are doing.

that's right -- a step at a time (with the understanding that an obstacle might cause you to sometimes take a step back, so that you can regroup and take two steps forward later).

Lou, that is a great motivational message, thank you. In overcoming obstacles we do learn to grow and become stronger, moving us closer in the direction of our goals. So many times it seems, we look at a persons success and not the road of obstacles which lead them there. :)
