TimeTrade Software

Realtors are a special type, though we are a breed of salepeople.

Recently, I was trying to find a scheduling solution, and have come across TimeTrade.  It's well geared to people who make appointments at their office all the time, or I could even see it for people who have multiple clients who they support from their computer all the time.

I'm trying to understand how to use the software so that my 15 minute phone call request from a client doesn't cause a conflict as I try to get to the next appointment for a home showing.  TimeTrade's support person has been making some recommendations, though I'd love to hear if anyone here has had success. Or not.

Thanks for any ideas.

Claude - I never heard of TimeTrade software before. Sorry, like Lynn, I can't help you, but I will see if I can check it (not sure how easy to find with no link provided)

Jon, yes, that's a good idea.  I've just added the link.

Lynn, check back, in a week or two, I should have more experience, and others may have chimed in with their supprt or suggestions.

I've made some progress. As with any software, the deeper one goes, the more questions one has.  And answers.  My contact at the firm has been quite responsive, which is good.

I'll keep on hacking away, and when the solution is built, I'll be back to post my reviews.

Until then, when I'm at someone's office now, I wonder "gee, how are you making appointments?".  I was asking my acupuncturist today, thinking this would be a great strategy for her.  Evidently, I feel a need to sell homes and to sell software solutions.

I've been playing with this for a month or so, and there are some advantages, which is why  iwas interested in the software to begin with.

The biggest disadvantage that I've found is that while the software pulls availability from google calendar, it doesnt' itself update google calendar.

I now have to reference google calendar AND my notifications to truly understand what my time commitments are for the day.

To me, this is a drawback.
