As I watch some of these events start to take place on television, it really brings on a somber mood to remember what happened.   May we never forget what took place on this date to change our lives forever.  Support the troops.

Lloyd--What a detailed list!  Our church and many others had memorial services this morning.  Unless you are watching football this weekend most of the channels are carrying coverage of 9-11 services.

Thanks for the two previous reblogs.  I visited Dan and Lindsey posts and left a comment.

Good Afternoon Robert:

New Mexico is a vital state with regards to the National Security and Defense. There is Los Alamos National Lab, , The Air Force Research Lab, Sandia Nationlal Lab, Kirtland AFB, Cannon AFB, Holloman AFB, White Sand Missile Range, along with quite a few different reserve and guard units.  Here in Albuquerque there is Sandia, AF Research Lab, the 150th Fighter Wing of the New Mexico Air National Guard and Kirtland AFB...the coordination and collaboration between the Base,  City, County, and State Leadership is incredible.  If there is friction the are doing a great job of hiding it.  Today's event at the Civic Plaza involved both City State and Military Leaders.  The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers 9/11 Memorial Run

was a collaborative effort between both Civilian and military leaders
