Relocating to Collegeville

Relocating to Collegeville or the surrounding area?  You are not alone; this area is a hot spot for Corporate Relocations for employers like Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline, Quest Diagnostics, SEI Investments and Merck.  Many of these companies are not only relocating employees from other states but also bringing in employees from overseas.  I have had the pleasure of assisting numerous clients relocating to this area from all across the United States and I’m currently working with my 1st international transferee.   There are numerous concerns for people when relocating, but when relocating to a new country the concerns/anxiety can grow exponentially.

There are plenty of great reasons to be excited that you are relocating to Collegeville.  Not only are there numerous great employers in the area, many people are thrilled with the area schools, local hospitals and the great dining and shopping in the area.

There are 3 different school districts that service the Collegeville zip code (19426).  In no particular order, these districts are Methacton, Springford and Perkiomen Valley.  Other school districts outside the Collegeville zip code are Phoenixville, Great Valley, Tredyffrin/Easttown, Upper Merion, Lower Merion and Norristown.

If you are a history lover, Collegeville is only minutes from Valley Forge National Park where soldiers in the Continental Army spent the winter during the American Revolutionary War.  The park sits on over 3,500 acres and is visited by over 1.2 million people a year.  If shopping is more your style, visit the King of Prussia Mall, which is the largest mall on the east coast, that is home to upscale shopping and dining.  Or right here in Collegeville, we have the brand new Providence Town Center with stores like Wegmans, Movie Tavern, Dick’s Sporting Goods and numerous restaurants.
