How Do You Confront Your Fears?

How do you confront your fears? Whether its physical or psychological danger, there seems to be a fight or flight mechanism that controls how we handle or how we react to fear.

Maybe the fear is regarding should I buy or sell a home, or "should I continue to rent a place that will never be mine even though I can well afford to buy a home"? Or maybe it's "do I want to get a good agent to help me with my real estate transaction or do I think I can get this done on my own by using some on-line tools and advice from my cousin who lives in another state?

There is nothing wrong with being financially prudent. Each of us has to evaluate our situation and avoid getting over extended. But sometimes we let our fears get the better of us and find that the things we feared can be overcome and we'll end up in a better place by taking the bull by the horns, so to speak.

Here is a short vignette that shows how some confront their fears turn tail and run, and others who confront those fears head-on and are rewarded.

That was an awesome video!  How DO we confront our fears? Personally, I sidle up to them by doing something that doesn't bother me so much, then ease right on over into the action that I was dreading. . . and what we fear is RARELY as bad as we imagine it might be!

Being determined and having a plan helps.

Also understanding the nature of the environment your in helps.

This could go in either direction, you should be smart enough to be concerned at times and approach with caution.

cheers

I agree a great video; had me sitting up in my seat.

As for fear, that is part of life, address the fear and move on. You may find out you should not have been fearful at all. If you find you went in the wrong direction, handle the issue. I encourage folks that truly want a home follow your dream, prepare for the day and always have a good person (Realtor) to lead you through the process.
