West I-10 Fire Department Station 1

Greater Katy Exchange Club has been in existence since 2005 while the National Exchange Club was founded in 1911 and this year is their 100 anniversary. The Club has stated purpose being: “A group of men and women working together to make the community a better place to live through various programs such as …  Community Service, Youth Activities and the National project of Prevention of Child Abuse”.

I am happy to see a local group taking the time to honor our local Firefighters who many times are unsung heroes that no one even notices.

I am glad that there is a group for our unsung heroes. This has really hit home with the wild fires here and the drought!

Considerig all of the wild fires that we have been experiencing across Texas, coupled with the drought, we should all be honoroing our firefighters. Actually, it shouldn't have taken this to get us to do it. We should have been doing it all along!
