Steve Jobs has died

By

Earlier I wrote a "review" of sorts of Apple's latest release of the iPhone.

Appearantly they were rushing to market with the latest iPhone due to Steve Jobs illness.

He stepped away from Apple several months ago and many are wondering what direction the technology giant will take without him at the helm.

I am very sad to hear that Steve Jobs has died...

October 14th, the actual release date of the iPhone 4S has been dubbed an unofficial STEVE JOBS DAY.

Steve Jobs was a creative, innovative visionary who changed the real estate market. And, he was never in this business.

Two iconic figures in one day:  Steve Jobs and the Reverend Fred Shuttlesworth. Both left long lasting contributions.

Ron, Steve Jobs has a huge impact on today's technology and put Apple on the map. He will be missed by many.

And I raise my iPhone to honor his memory.  He certainly impacted my everyday life.

Steve Jobs was a great man and an inspiration to us all. We have so much to learn from his life and the decisions he made. His products and services changed lives and this is why we remember him today.

I am saddened by Steve Jobs death. I heard someone say that he was the Thomas Edison of our time and I have to agree. Hopefully his genius mind has been inherited by his children.

He was truly a visionary and will be missed, I'm not sure what else to say but a post elsewhere from a mother with a child that has significant special needs pretty much sums it up... "I don't know much about Steve Jobs, but when (my child) is holding an iPad, she can speak. So thank you."

Personally, I don't own a single apple item. I've never had an ipod, iphone, or ipad. I used my first mac in elementary school and junior high, and the computer lab in high school was all Mac...

I don't have any of his products, but he's still a genius and will be missed with his innovative ideas!

I'm sure the company will miss him terribly.

Yeah and I was wanting the iPhone 5 and all we got was the STINKING iPhone 4.5. I hope this lousy 4.5 model isn't a sign of things to come for Apple.

I wanted to be comment #100. Too bad that didn't work. I am so 100 percent Apple and will never go back. The systems are based on pure SJ genius. No one man has ever had a greater positive affect on mankind.

Very sad. I was in total shock when I read about it last night. I truly hope his vision is kept alive and moves on in the right direction. I hate to live in a world stuck behind microsft technology.

I recently got my first apple product.  An Iphone and I love it.  I have drooled over Apple computers for some time.  Truly Steve Jobs was a visionary and pioneer.  He will be missed.  Often imitated - never duplicated.

Steve Jobs certainly changed the lives of everyone in my family and we are so grateful. We all have iPhones, three of us have Macs, and two of us have iPods. He will be sorely missed.
