Over 20 fruits and vegetables available to pick yourself or pre-picked throughout several harvest seasons, starting with strawberries in April and ending with a wide selection of Pumpkins in October. Small and medium to pick youself, and pumpkins of all sizes available already picked at their stand. Great for jack-o-lanterns, decoration, or pumpkin pies!
Open daily through Oct. 31, Mon.-Sat., 9 a.m.-6 p.m; Sun. 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Pick your pumpkin straight from pumpkin patch, or choose from those already picked and stacked. Admission includes a pumpkin to take home! Activities include corn maze and "short" crop mazes for the kids. Guests are invited to pick an ear of corn to feed the barnyard animals at the end of the maze, using an old-fashioned sheller to take off the kernels for the goats, chickens, and other animals. Get there early enough, and you can pick cotton, too.

Extended hours this year. Open 7 days a week, 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Fall Harvest and Pumpkin Festival through Nov. 13. Admission includes pumpkin! Check out the pumpkin patch, covered wagon hayride. Get unlimited rides on the 80-foot giant slide. Other activities include farm animals, fish-feeding dock, kids' play land, country store and live music. Pony rides, gem stone panning, and rides on the full size train are available for extra fee. Sample homemade Butter Cream Fudge, free.

This place has something for everyone, including huge pumpkin patch, corn maze, hay rides, kids' hay maze, kids' tunnels/hay mountain, huge bounce houses, toddlers' sand box, pony rides ($5 each), face painting ($4 each), cows to visit, several tractors, fire trucks, hot food and concessions, and even more!

In addition to selling pumpkins, Hector's Creek hosts school tours to learn about life on a farm and farming techniques/history. Hector's Creek also offers hayrides, pedal carts, and their "barrel train". While the classes are for elementary schoolers, anyone is welcome to stop by and visit the pumpkin patch at Hector's Creek. Hector's Creek is located in southern Wake County, between Fuquay-Varina and Lillington.

Hart's Pumpkin Farm has been offering an annual Pumpkin Festival for the past 15 years. Unusual fun includes a 2500 sq ft "jumping pillow", "Udder Run" train with cow painted barrel cars, 80 ft underground slide, and much more!
