Rock Creek Park's Pierce Mill Reopened Today

By
Real Estate Agent with Evers & Company Real Estate, Inc. AB95346

Rock Creek Park's Pierce Mill is reopening today, with restorations completed. It will be opened to the pubic on weekends between 10 AM and 4 PM.

This wonderful old stone structure is located at the corner of Tilden Road and Beach Drive, right on the Creek.

When I took this photo yesterday, the leaves were just beginning to change.  I love the way they look against the old stone struture.

Karen, there are a lot of old stone buildings around here.  It was the building material of choice of a lot of the Amish settlers, and they are really solidly built.

This reminds me of an old grist mill in Connecticut near where my grandparents lived! Love it!
