First Heavy Frost of The Season in Charlotte, NC

By
Real Estate Agent with ProStead Realty

This morning it was white with frost.  In fact I did a double take when I looked out the window.  It was still dark, but the ground was white.  I actually thought it had snowed.

In this picture you can see that the rose bushes still have roses in bloom.  I will be busy cutting back all of these gardens, so that they can rest for the winter.

The next big rain will take off the leaves and trees will be bare.

No matter what season, it is always beautiful in Charlotte, NC.

Hi Sharon, I really enjoy fall but am not big on winter.  My heart skipped a beat this morning when I thought it was snow.  Have a nice evening and thanks for commenting.

Like your new photo!  We are still getting nice temps into the 70s so this is hard to think about.  I know it will be here soon enough!

Hi Connie,  LOL...thanks for commenting on my photo.  I took it of myself this morning.  Not easy.. wanted something for that ActiveRain facebook contest.  It is time to go get some new photos taken.  I would rather have the 70 degree weather each and everyday!

Hi Judith,  Steamboat where I go over Thanksgiving has 4 feet snow blow across some of the roads.  So I guess you having frost is not that bad.  Hope you are doing fine!

Your pictures look nice. The frost does look like a dusting of snow. We are expecting snow tonight or tomorrow.

Hi Will, that makes my teeth chatter just thinking about it.  I hope you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle.  You will need it.  Have a great evening.

Judith,

Looks like a football field. You can have the frost. I'll take warmer. :)
