I Still Have All Mine

I Still Have All My Leaves....is what this tree was saying.... (well it would if it could talk).  I noticed this tree when I was driving out of my subdivision this morning.  Seems all the other trees have lost their leaves and are bare.  This beauty still has not only all the leaves, but the beautiful red fall color.  I just had to stop and take this photo.

The below poem, TREESis by Joyce Kilmer

I THINK that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the sweet earth's flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain
Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

Rebecca, it is funny some trees are completely bare, and others are hanging tight to their leaves!   This red tree is beautiful!

Rebecca,

This is one of my favortie poems.  It always comes into my head when I am admiring trees, and I would have done the same thing, got out of the car and taken the picture.  Lovely way for me to wake up this morning. A

I love the fall colors, so very pretty.  This tree is the last hold-out before winter hits.

What a beautiful photo Rebecca.  All our trees have lost their leaves here in Western Washington.  I'm not ready for what winter has to bring!

She is stunning, dressed in red.  Autumn is not so dramatic in the valley, flowers and cacti are blooming and injoying cooler weather and a bit of rain.

Howdy and evening Rebecca

Rebecca, that there Tree sure is standing there mighty proud showing off its good looking leaves. I really like the framing, it sure does make the Tree stand out even more.

I am astonished at the vivid red color of leaves in certain areas of the country.  We have some pretty vibrant shades going on here in Sacramento; but I've seen nothing like the RED in your picture. . .Amazing stuff!

I meant to ask - What is the castle looking building in your banner up above?  It almost looks like something you would see in England, Ireland, Scotland - not West Virginia.
