Got The Crew To Swing The Clubs, Instead of Swinging The Hammers.

I had an opportunity to get the crew out on the golf course today; they deserved a break in their work schedule. I think it benefits those in the construction trades to get out on the course once in a while during the week. Today, we all had a blast getting together on the links.

They have been working at an incredible rate, knocking out jobs as quick as they come in. They have stepped up to meet some pretty tight deadlines, and a reward seemed well earned.

We got on the course in the afternoon, to take advantage of the slow turnout. We are not the best golfers; slow play, errand shots, and mulligans where on today’s schedule. It was a great bonding event where we could just have some fun. We are looking forward to doing this again.

Excellent way to show your appreciation for all of their hard work Tom.  They, and you, deserved that break.

It was great getting out on the course and enjoying the time. We all golf but haven't in quite some time Debbie. Thanks.

Roger, it was good to get out before the rainy season really started too.

Tom, what a great team builder! How good you are doesn't matter, it's the fun, just like you said! And the 19th hole is the best part!

Happy ThanksgivingHi Tom - Sounds like a fun outing for your crew. Golf is not my game - I suck hideously at it, so when I play, which is about twice a year, I consider it a fun opportunity to drive around in a golf cart, drink beer, smoke cigars and talk ugly. And usually, no one is seriously injured. Have a great Thanksgiving!

Tom ~ Sounds like you and the crew had a much needed time out at the golf course. Everyone benefits from refueling time. Well done!

Thank goodness being a good golfer doesn't matter, it's more fun that way Peg.

You play about 100% more than me Dick, care to join our foursome? "Usually no one gets hurt", too funny.

Thanks Diane. This makes going back a lot easier.

Taking time for these "off the job" moments can be so valuable. Smart of you to recognize it. I hope you have a delicious and Happy Thanksgiving with friends/and or family. Dj
