The roller coaster is chugging UP the hill.   The Shelton CT single family market report for November 2011, which includes Huntington and White Hills,  shows a 17% increase in sales over October 2011.

Additionally, a comparison to the same period last year shows a 17% INCREASE in sales.  List and selling averages decreased 20% and 21% respectively.  The median also fell down at 7% lower.

71% of sales were concentrated in the $0-300K range with the highest concentration in the popular $200-$300K range keeping averages on the low side.

Good market report as demand is up but prices are down. The available inventory is still in the buyers market category but it is not that bad. Hopefully you are particpating in the increase of home sales.
