Is YOUR 2012 BUSINESS PLAN FOR REALTORS complete? Have you considered making a practice to take 10 minutes to FOCUS on it and review it every day? One of my goals is to have my business in 2012 be more productive than the past three years combined. Another one of my goals, is to have a stronger focus to "BE AROUND POSITIVE PEOPLE" after all the world didn't come to an end...AGAIN THIS YEAR..... I BELIEVE WE HAVE THE RIGHT, TO TELL A PERSON "I DON'T WANT TO LISTEN TO THAT CRAP" more than they have the RIGHT TO pour it on us. YOU HAVE RIGHTS ALSO!!! Tell them if it is not positive, or productive, or someone is not learning from it, move on.
Part of my business plan includes, a little TALK with the Realtor who is on the opposite side of ALL transactions I will have in 2012, to COMMUNICATE up front my expectations, to see we BOTH have a goal to have a smooth transactions, and a successful close of escrow. If it happens to be a short sale, an undestanding when we go into it that we each have communicated with our buyer or seller and have an UNDERSTANDING, whether it takes two months or six months, we ALL WILL STICK IN THERE TO THE END!
2012 BUSINESS PLAN FOR REALTORS, I feel should include "IN WRITING" some time set aside EVERY WEEK for physical exercise, some time for reading, some time for Toastmasters, some time to HELP someone else in the business, some time to review our business plan.
One way for assurance of a SUCCESSFUL and BEST YEAR EVER for 2012 is>>>>>>>>>>> IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A BUSINESS PLAN........you WILL upon completing the reading of this blog, YOU WILL make a commitment to at least do 20 minutes of work on it TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the words I notice used most often by people is "BUSY" You know what I have to say about BUSY.... THERE IS NEVER A DAY I DO NOT HAVE at least one hour I can break away to help someone, to accomplish something positive, to take care of some unexpected events that come up. Often I am asked where do I FIND THE TIME........... CUT OUT ONE HOUR OF TELEVISION, OR ONE HOUR, OF NONPRODUCTIVE CHATTER, >>>>>> how about cutting out one meal for the day? WA LA...... I mean if it is absolutely necessary could you go without a little food just one day?
2012 Business Plan for Realtor, is the #1 KEY to a successful year in real estate. With two books published, and over 31 years in the business, very active in four Toastmaster clubs, devoting time weekly to "SIT AND TALK" with someone else in the business to LEARN something new, doing some prospecting, learning something new, it allows less opportunity to associate with Negative Ned or Debbie Downer.
WOW, JUST THIS YEAR, the NEW THINGS I HAVE LEARNED. I have so much new technology I am using, it requires a strong focus to actually put it all in to action.
