No hear-say, we've made certain to visit these locations multiple times over the course of the last year. We've also tried a great many more dining establishments that didn't make this year's list. We've visited restaurants as a single ("table for one please"), a romantic couple, a children-in-tow family and an adult group of 12+ friends.
In addition to our personal experiences, we solicited feedback from other "locals" (aka Stowe-area residents), Stowe merchants (who often recommend dining spots to customers), and best of all, our own Stowe Meadows Lodge customers.
This year's list was selected with input from nearly 1,000 residents and area visitors. All visits to these hot spots needed to take place in 2011 to be part of our survey.
The restaurants on our 2011 Best of Stowe VT™ list consistently deliver amazing food, terrific service and an overall dining experience that makes you say, "I can't wait to go back!". All are within a 30 minute drive of Stowe, even though they may not be located strictly in
