Have you ever dealt with “propinquity” in your business?

Real Estate Broker/Owner with Wise Custom Realty PB00068179

Have you ever dealt with “propinquity” in your business?

I haven’t and I don’t know that I want to.  It would be awkward to say the least but I’m just glad no one has approached me with this potential problem.  If they did as much as I would be cautious I think I would go ahead and do it.  So I guess by now you would like to know the meaning of (pro pin’ kwe te, -pin’) is nearness of relationship; kinship.  So I haven’t had any relatives ask me to put their home on the market or assist them in the purchase of one.  What say you?

Good morning, James.

Dealing with inlaws or outlaws can be a real pain in the assets. I don't go there...

James: My family all think they are experts in real estate! Funny I don't profess to be an expert in education because I went to school, an expert in medical terms or nursing and hospital care because I get sick, or a CPA because I majored in business. So I guess the answer is no, LOL. Happy Holidays!

Got my attention.  I have one that might try to short sell their place and I will recommend another.

Have dealt with propinquity in my real estate career. Like Rob, the transactions went well. Since I had such a great start, I am retired when it comes to relatives. I'm quitting while ahead! Enjoy your day!
