Alley Cat With First Christmas Tree

This is Alley Cat's first Christmas Tree. She has sniffed every branch and figured out that it has a new watering bowl attached.

We've just about decided putting anything breakable on the tree will be a receipe for disaster.

Now about those glowing eyes...YIKES.

Cindy, Those rare times we've had a Christmas tree at home, we can count on the sounds of hearing a ball ornament rolling across the hardwood floors :)

OK, Cindy, those eyes would keep me up at night.  8-)  Ironically, my big goofy 165 lb dog has never knocked a bulb off the tree.  I don't even know how he has avoided it, but so far (5 yrs) so good.  Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Bliz-I've put one ornament on the tree as a test.  So far it's still there.  But figure it will be the middle of the night before I hear it go clink.

Mike-after I downloaded the photo from my phone I realized how scary they were.  Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Christmas tree is firmly attached to the wall and the new waterbowl is covered to keep her paws out of it.

Dear Cindy -

Commenting on two reads at once - finding the tree bottom piece after you have a new one reminds me of  my great aunt saying -"Why is what you need always in the last place you look?" I probably was out of college before I realized just how funny the saying was.

I will be careful if I ever visit yu - ole' yellow eyes looks formidible!
Have a happy day -
Lynn

Lynn-if I had dug to the bottom of the box I would have saved myself a lot of trouble.  The flash caught Alley just right and it does reflect he wild personality just about right.

Pat-the photo made me laugh as when Alley gets focused on something she can be a bit intense.  The Christmas Tree is putting her poor mind into hyper-overload.
