While I would love to just hand out leads, there is a process that must be learned. Should be under 1 hour. Note that we don't mention the website or company here because we don't want Google to index this semi-private page.
Here are the basics.
Pre-Leads Step A) Sign up for the $0 branded I-D-X.
Users come to the site and love the site. It is silly for you to send them alerts from another service. Signing up (as an agent) is free and your name will be on every page of the site, every email and most of the company branding is removed.
Email me for the private link to sign up.
Pre-Leads Step B) Learn how to use our MLS search site
Start with watching these videos (first 2 are required, the rest are strongly encouraged). Then create an account like a user (disclose that you are an agent) and start saving homes and saving searches. Also watch the video on the front page of the MLS site.
STEP 1) GETTING LEADS, to your phone
Within 1 minute, our system will instantly patch (call you and then call the customer) new registered users or people wanting to see a home or newly registered users.
The #1 goal is to get them signed up for daily email alerts. You can do this for them.
STEP 2) SIGN THEM UP FOR ALERTS
a) Go to domainname*/login to register the client. (*put the website name here) If already registered go to b)
3) Lead Conversion (General)
Learn how we expect you to follow up with a lead, if you wish to accept them. Each lead costs us well over $125 to make your phone ring, so treat each lead as if YOU paid that money.
http://tinyurl.com/LeadConversion101 This is a LONG post, but necessary homework.
5) Intro video to our CRM (UPDATE 1-2014, We no longer use an oursourced CRM, we use a custom made one now, see #6)
6) Intro video to our back end Agent Login into the IDX (Required within a week of getting leads)
This allows you to add customers to your free account and see their surfing and save history. So if you see a client with no email alerts... that is worthy of a call to help them set it up.
7) 1-12-2012 Update on lead system, required reading.
You should be a pro now!
ps. If you aren't with the company, and want a more general overview, see our quasi training manual.
