As I see it . . . . . . .

 

The need for change

 

This quote really sparked my interest.

 

Over the last several years the real estate industry like so many other businesses in the country has experienced massive change and is in continuous state of evolving to create a more effective platform to operate from.  

 

Change by itself can be either good or bad. It can create a breakthrough or it can create a road block. 

 

Let’s look at Microsoft, as good as Windows 93 was in its day it would no longer be the most effective program to run in today’s world. It became the foundation to several new windows programs that where devolved and evolved to fit the needs of the Microsoft customers today.

 

DOS was the forerunner of Microsoft in there day they where a leader in computer software. As the needs for computer software changed, DOS did not change or adjusted and as a result faded from the software landscape and went out of business.

 

Over the years Microsoft has changed and adjusted and today remains a major player in the computer software business.

 

Where would Microsoft be today if they have been resistant to change? My guess is out of business.   

 

The need for change is the evidence that things are not functioning at their most effective level and without change things will neither stay the same nor get better.

 

When there’s a need for change we either get on the leading edge of change or things get a lot worst.    

 

As the real estate business continues to evolve and the need for change is there we have to adjust, change and evolve to remain completive in the market place.   Within change are the seeds of opportunity.

One thing about change is that it is constant. The sooner change is incorporated into any business model, the doors open for innovation and opportunity. After all every day is different!

Lou, love changes too.  They sometimes don't feel right at first but once adopted and digested they so often take us to yet another part of becoming more fully human.  Well written.

Change is inevitable. If you learn form change it can be a positive, if you don't the change can have negative consequences. Choose wisely!
