Kathy - I heard about the Wikipedia hoopla and saw that Google block out their name. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come! While I can't relate to the male Peacock, I can certainly relate to the ladies - lol!

Kathy -

Mr. Peacock really knows how to strut his stuff.  The girls just don't seem to be interested but perhaps they're just playing hard to get :)  Thanks for the smile this morning.

I sould have written a SOPA blog today!  I hadn't seen the Wikipedia website but I fully support getting rid of SOPA before it destroys free speech.

Hi Kathy.  I feel sorry for the poor peacock!  He's trying so hard, and the girls won't give him the time of day.

Deborah- I agree. I look at the feathers on their tails and am always amazed at them.

BARFF- Let me tell you.. peahens are more aggressive than peacocks!

Roy- they drop their feathers once a year and I'd love it if they'd drop them all in my yard!!

Craig- I can't imagine that!!!! Those Peahens in your area just don't know what they're missing.  What about Heather!?!

BARFF- give the guy a break.. will ya!

Tony & Darcy- They're beautiful but during mating season very noisy!

Kristine- isn't it something how Mother Nature made the male of the species all "decked out".  And of course, that's why they gave us Chanel, Estee Lauder YSL .......

John- I think the Peacocks are hen-pecked!

Rebecca- this was a joint effort by my husband and myself.  I fed them for a while to keep them around.

Kathy- LOL- did you go to the website to learn more about it.

Bryan- both sites will link you to a site where you can sign a petition.

Connie- the peacocks are usually outnumbered by the peahens 5 to 1.... just like with us humans!

Dianne- and like us humans... the peahens were more interested in eating!

Lou- I've only seen the baby peacocks once!  I think unfortunately many of them are hit by cars.

I was wondering what's a deal with Google today___________ ;-)

Anyway, I love the video. I've heard that mail peacocks are mean maybe that's why females are not that interested.

Cathy- there's a group here called Wordless Wednesdays, the purpose of which is to post a photo expressing a feeling or thought without words.

Sharon- They're cute but vain as well.  I've seen them spend hours staring at themselves in the shiny bumpers of cars.

Anna- I don't know about that but the peahens (females) are much more aggressive.
