A few years ago now I wrote a blog on Armando Montelongo from A&E's Flip This House. If you have not read it or remember reading it...you might want to check it out http://activerain.com/blogsview/436444/Remember-Armando-Montelongo-from it's a pretty lively and engaging topic.
At any rate, since that time I've received several letters from folks who have attended his seminars. Here now is one such letter and my response to her...I have removed the Sender's email information for their personal privacy and safety.
In closing, I would be interested in knowing if others have any similar experiences while attending these types of seminars. Please share so that others can benefit from your experiences.

Mr Elliott, i went to one of the seminars that Armando was supposed to be teaching last night in Greensboro, NC. Well, after everybody got there they announced that Armando was not there but his VP was going to tell us about his class. This guy was very straight forward about but everything but he really didn't tell us anything about this class. He showed us about a preforeclosed house and how they got that (Armando's Company) and then turned around and sold that house to somebody and made thousands of dollars. He kept on telling us if we were not interested in making money to leave and started cussing like a sailor. To me this was not a classy way of doing a seminar. They us if our phone's rung we would be charged 100.00 for that so turn our damn phones off. I am 57 years old and but the way this guy talked to us was awful. He would call people out by name and made us feel like we were lowly people. It was awful, toward the end of the seminar he even told 2 ladies to leave they didn't need to be there. He talked awful to them, they finally got up and walked out. At then end he was pushing Armando's class which was almost $4500.00 to get into but last night only he was selling it for $1500.00. People that DID NOT have the money got up and signed up 7 to be exact. He made the rest of us feel like low lifes. I finally told him i for one didn't have $1500.00 for the class. He had mine as well told me to get out. I have not been to a seminar before but i will not go to another one. I just wanted you to know about this one. It was awful and one more thing we heard at 40-50 times how him and Armando was millionares and they didn't need to work a regular job. I was sick of hearing that too, if i had thought about it i would of asked him why he was there teaching a class if he didn't need the money.
