Please don’t come to me and ask how to get more business and then don’t do anything!

I love teaching classes on blogging and lead generation, but as always happens, I have some 30 people in the class and if I’m lucky one person will actually do what I teach them. It is like they are afraid of success?

I want to help you get more business, but you have to do something for yourself. It isn’t like what I’m teaching you takes you 6 hours a day, the stuff I teach you only takes about an hour a day and at a minimum should get you one lead a day.

Taking action to get your business to grow

Now, if you can close 1 deal a week from those leads then you are doing a lot more than you are doing now at one transaction every six months. But, I’m starting to think the agents that come to these seminars are just coming for the free donuts and are expecting us to hand them a commission check when they leave.

Sorry, there is some work involved with getting business. It isn’t much, no one has ever died doing what I have taught. Heck, I haven’t even tried to hit the point of killing people with boredom. (I try to make my classes a little exciting)

So, please if you are asking for more business and taking classes on how to get more business, then listen and take action and I promise within a month you will be doing business. (Or there is the alternative) Do nothing, waste an hour or two of your time and in one month I promise you will be asking yourself again, why I do I not have any business.

Todd,  It is so funny how some agents just want a get rich quick scheme and don't want to work for their business.  Sitting back and waiting for the phone to ring does not pay the bills.  So what kind of donuts are you serving for these folks to come out for those?  Must be extra special.  It is frustrating when you feel like you aren't getting through to people.

Could not agree with you more. Few months ago, an agent chased me down to ask how to generate more business, after multiple phone calls we talked on the phone, I suggested few things, and he responded with little to none interest... I hardly think he took the notes,or apply any ideas since then.
