If You Have A Smart Phone, Protect Your Family's Privacy

By
Real Estate Agent with Benchmark Realty LLC, Brentwood, Nashville TN 615.516.5233 TN 221117, 299512

Information came to me today in a video with a warning of taking photos, especially of children, and sending them to a social networking site. This can be dangerous as the location of your camera can be determined by stalkers through the location services on the phone.

To help protect yourself on your iPhone, go to 'settings,' 'location services,' and on 'camera' click 'off.' Hopefully, this keeps your camera from giving your location.

Stay safe with your technology!

Sarah and John: I just saw your blog on Victor's reblog. Thank you for the tip. I just checked my iPhone and it was "off". Didn't even know that was a possibility. I do have it "on" for pretty much everything else.

Additional Information

Nashville TN is an exciting city with many types of restaurants, several colleges and universities, and many styles and prices of housing. We love living and working in Nashville, and invite you to email or phone us with questions about living in the area, or just to talk about your future plans. We have a diverse clientele; some are investors who want to buy more properties; some are investors who want to sell their portfolio; some are seniors who want to downsize; some are relocating executives who need a home for entertaining and living comfortably. We have bank customers whose foreclosure & REO properties we list and sell. We never rush our clients to make a decision, as we work on your schedule, not ours. We can refer you to private lenders, mortgage lenders, and other vendors in the area. And, of course, we never accept a fee for referral to a vendor or lender. Even though vendors come highly recommended to us, or we have had personal experience with their work, you should always interview them and get other references and come to your own comfort level with them before contracting.
