Rita Ranch Tucson, Arizona Real Estate Market Report for December 2011

The Rita Ranch housing community located in Southeast Tucson boasts many of the areas best real estate values. The attraction to this community is due in large part to the Vail School District. However it doesn't stop there. So it's an area worth a look and so is this month's sales activity.

21 homes sold last month in tthe Rita Ranch  area which is an increase of 2 over last year. 

The average list price for homes that closed in Rita Ranch was $126,157 in December 2011.

The average list price for houses that sold in December 2010 was $141,174.                                      

Houses that closed in December 2011 sold for 97.49% of asking price.

Houses that closed in December 2010 sold for 97.23% of asking price

The average Sales price for homes that closed in Rita Ranch was $123,156 in December 2011.

The average Sales price for homes that closed in Rita Ranch was $137,529 in December 2010.

The average Market time for homes that closed in Rita Ranch was 67 days in December 2011.

The average Market time for homes that closed in Rita Ranch was 136 days in December 2010. 

46 homes went under contract in Rita Ranch in December 2011. The average list price for homes that went under contract was $121,937. The average time on market for these Rita Ranch homes was 57 days.

Kevin, thanks for the market report for Rita Ranch.  I have several business acquaintances purchase homes in the Tucson area lately as retirement homes. I hope the market continues it's good fortune going into 2012.
