Cupcake Wars...BEWARE!cupcakes in salinas

Excerpt From A Piece Of Cake Website:

A Piece of Cake is the very first mobile cupcake truck in Salinas, California. We zoom around Salinas selling delicious cupcakes, bundt cakes, cookies and much more; directly from our cute truck. Our goodies are baked from scratch daily using only the highest freshest quality ingredients.

We think a cupcake should first be moist, fresh and delicious. Our goal is to make sure every cupcake melts in your mouth and makes you want to come back for more.

All items baked from scratch using only the finest ingredients!

a piece of cake grand opening

I was showing property in Salinas today and came upon this very special Grand Opening of a locally owned bakery.

A Piece Of Cake is a cupcake "store"  with delicous cupcakes, bundt cakes, cookies, Bubble Tea, coffee and more...

I was intrigued by the chalk board where kids and adults alike can leave their mark..

I took  home Chocolate Chocolate, Red Velvet, Strawberry Lemonade and Filled Birthday Cake....my family loves me!!

What a fun store, with whisical decor, fabulous treats and friendly staff..this is a much welcome business to downtown Salinas.

I learned that they have a mobile truck that has been in various locations in Salinas, they have been so popular, that now they have a permanent store on South Main Street in Salinas.  I have watched shows on The Food Network on mobile trucks in cities selling tacos to Steak and Cheese Subs...but CUPCAKES??? hOW FUN IS THAT?

The NEW store has ample parking, and is easy to find accross from the SaveMart Shopping Center.  One can have private parties, catered events...try them out, now you don't have to chase them all over the Salinas Valley you can find them in a permanent spot.  The truck will still be making rounds....so be sure to try this great little spot and support a local business.

Looks Yummy. My first apartment was in Salinas. Fond memories. I miss the valley.

I like the way they are artistically frosted.

What is bubble tea?

Good luck with the cupcake sales!

I've seen a few food trucks but never thought there would be a cupcake one but it sounds good to me. I hope they do bubble tea on the truck also.

Bubble tea is the name for pearl milk tea and other similar tea and juice beverages that originated in tea shops in Taichung, Taiwan during the 1980s.
