For All Web Surfers - How To Help Counter Google's New Privacy Rules

With Google's new privacy rules going into effect next month (which is only days away), it might be a good time to hop into your Google account and turn off your web browsing history collection - oh, you didn't know you had one?  Yep, it's true.

Google wil be importing your browsing history into it's other applications, this after years and years of withholding that data separately within the search application.  But how to protect?  Google itself has a one-click solution that's easy to get to and turn off your Google web history.  Gizmodo does the best job of explaining it so here's the link:

Oh my -- thanks for the heads up on this one.  I am not sure there is any hope for privacy any more.

I actually find the Google history helpful for finding past engagements, images, photos, etc.
