Macadam is the new word of the day…

So tell me have you been on one of these?  Bet me just bet me cause I know you have.  It’s a common thing so want to make a wager?  OK all joking aside I still say you have been on one of these can you guess what it is?  Alright I’ve held you in suspense for long enough the meaning of (me kad’em) is small broken stones used in making roads; esp., such stones combined with a binder such as tar or asphalt.  So tell me did you guess it?  Isn’t this fun?

Oh James I am so disappointed. I thought it was going to be a Hawaiian road made out of Macadamia nuts!

FORTUNATELY, they won't need it at Daytona * the NEW paving was unharmed from this wreck and fire at the race last night/this morning...they used TIDE detergent to get the fuel off the racetrack!  Sorry - I'm still wound up!

I knew that word and even the history behind it!  That Thomas Macadam made a good product - and it has not been changed much since he invented it!

Goodness Wallace I just say that clip on the news just before I saw your comment thankfully no one was injured.  I like it when someone is so passionate about the sport or other event they truly love and you do love it so

James, I didn't know this and I drive on it around here all the time...I think.  The road is graded, gravel laid on the road and then some product called "road bond" is laid over it.

Now...what's the origin of "rip rap"?
