Hi Don - That actually sounds like a cool event. When I was a kid and got to visit my uncle's farm, they always let me drive one of the old tractors, it was the first thing I ever drove, and I've been interested in them ever since.

There is a threshing contest locally in a town nearby called Nowthen in the summer.  And, this would be a great tie-in to that event, too.

Although I dont have time to go, I love the old farm shows.  I used much of this old stuff when I was quite young.

What fun! Don't think that I'll make it, but it would be a blast. We love tractors.

The History of Tractors...that is really intersting and something that can only be applicable in large farming communities or places that could even fit a tractor!  Great localism post!

My dad retired from John Deere and my grandfather put the sound system in the world headquarters. I would love to see the history of tractors Minnesota style.
