Keep Austin Weird Homes reports a recent foreclosure in Circle C Ranch, Austin, TX

It is with a heavy heart that I share with all of you that a home right here in Circle C Ranch in Austin TX was foreclosed on earlier this month.  That’s right – you read correctly.  A home right here our very own desirable neighborhood – one of the hottest places to buy inAustin this spring – was foreclosed on by the bank.  This particular home was on the market as a short sale by an agent who did not have any specialized training in doing short sales inAustin,TX.  Now I don’t know the agent personally, and there are certainly many circumstances that factor into a short sale. However, the results – or lack of them in this case – were disastrous for the homeowner, a family, a neighbor.

So often we hear the foreclosure statistics on the national news and think things aren’t so bad here inAustin compared to the rest of the country.  And that is certainly true.  Unless you are one of the homeowners who is suddenly unemployed, sick, or facing divorce.  In which case statistics don’t matter; it just matters that you need help.

At Keep Austin Weird Homes we are absolutely PASSIONATE about helping people avoid foreclosure by closing short sales in Austin, TX.  Both Rodney Campbell and Theresa Bastian have taken multiple classes in order to properly advise people who are facing foreclosure including holding the Certified Distressed Property Expert certification.  We have successfully completed many short sales with a variety of different banks.

The difference between a foreclosure and a short sale on a homeowner’s credit rating, ability to buy another home in the future, security clearances, and family stability are big.  Short sales in Austin, TXare a viable alternative to foreclosure in most cases.  So if you or someone you know might be having difficulty with their mortgage payments, contact us.  We provide advice discreetly and compassionately to homeowners who are considering a short sale inAustin,TX – not just in Circle C Ranch.
