A Favorite Thing To Do In The Washington DC Area

By

I have several places in and around Northern Virginia that I like to visit on a regular basis. We have wonderful restaurants, great sporting events, the Cherry Blossom Festival (currently in full gear) and so much more.

I have to admit, the Zoo is always a fun place for me and my family to visit. In fact, The National Zoo is certainly a favorite in Washington DC. Here is the best thing about the Zoo and what makes it so family friendly. Admission is FREE! While there is a fee for parking, there is no cost to tour the Zoo.

The Zoo is certainly A Favorite Thing To Do In The Washington DC Area...

David,  I enjoy the zoo as well.  I can watch animals for hours.  There is something almost magical about them.

David,

One of my fondest memories as a kid was visiting the zoo on a regular basis. I think that's a place that is always welcoming and fun to visit. I'm glad to know you and your family still enjoy it. You can always learn a lot about animal behavior and get some great photographs too!

Have  great time this summer and enjoy the zoo as much as possible. There isn't too many things you can get for FREE today!
