GREEN real estate designation

Sarasota, is full of green -- lush tropical greenery and the green-blue of beach waves -- and as our world is becoming more Green-savy, so it Sarasota real estate.

Nowadays, thankfully, going green in real estate does not mean  breaking the bank, and Sarasota has the perfect climate perfect for solar panels, heat pumps, and more. Sarasota landscapers offer  drought-resistant plants and grasses, as well as replacement of lawns with decorative shells, stones, and more that don't require excessive water.

Good post for a green Sarasota, William. It is easier in Florida, I think, to go green. We stay green most of the year :)

William - My very southern wife has our backyard hidden from the HOA and water cops looking like an Alabama greenhouse each summer!  Water is like gold out here in the desert but I suck it up and pay the bill monthly enjoying the lush of green too.

William, Great idea about landscaping without all the grass to save on the water supply in Sarasota and congrats on your Green Designation!

Toni, thank you! Yes, with so much greenery year-round, Florida loves green.

John, I can relate to your wife's love of greenery!

Larry & Sheila, thank you!  And yes, it's becoming more and more the norm in certain areas to use shells and stones in place of grass. Not only does it require less water, it also requires less overall maintenance.
