Last week the voters in our area gave the go ahead to add a seventh elementary school to the Jackson R-2 School District. The new elementary school will be built on N Lacey Street in Jackson, Missouri. According to the SeMissourian, an estimated Seventy percent of the voters in the twenty Jackson School District precincts gave their support to the new bond. The school district already owns the 15+- acres that the new proposed elementary school is to be built on.

New Jackson R-2 Senior High School

As a parent with children at three seperate schools in this district I couldnt be happier with the choice of the voters! The Jackson R-2 school district is growning every year with new members of the community moving in, local business sprouting up and local subdivsions spreading.
