Motivational Power Quote

The Difference Between Death and Taxes

“The only difference between death and taxes

Is that death doesn’t get worse every time congress meets.”

Will Rogers, humorist

As I see it . . . . . . .

The difference between death and taxes

I think Will Rogers had it right that when a person dies there dead and it doesn’t get worst.

Now with taxes that’s a whole other story . . . . And then some.

When Congress meets they come up new and creative ways to spend our tax dollars. Hey the country own 16 trillion dollars in debt as a nation and now the czars are spending our tax dollars and hey they’re not even elected.

So is Will Rogers right?

The difference between death and taxes is . . . . When you’re dead Congress is looking for new ways for them keep more of what you had left. And every time Congress meets they’re trying to get of what you get before you get it.

We can cut out the middleman and have all our income checks deposit directly to the IRS and IRS can send us what’s left. Have a happy tax day and life is short . . . .  And be happy.

Lou -- a timely post and quote!   For me, I like this one from Mark Twain:

What is the difference between a taxidermist and a tax collector? The taxidermist takes only your skin.

Lou - I look forward to your motivational quotes. Today's is very funny and timely. I think Congress is trying to figure out ways to tax us even after we die...

Lou, I love your humor. What a scary thought is is to have our checkes deposited directly into into the IRS account and have them send us what is left!  I needed one of your motivational pep talks as I wrote a check last week!

Will had it right many years ago. Now we have a Congress largely elected by people on some type of government entitlement who pay no taxes. With over 50% of our population paying no federal income tax, the burden is growing for those who do! Death is final and taxes are subject to whim!
