When:  April 21 - 29
Where: NM  National Parks & Monuments
Why:   NM National Parks & Monuments Celebrate Earth Day

Each year in April around Earth Day, the New Mexico National Parks & Monuments waives fees. New Mexico has parks to visit, and many are very close to Albuquerque NM. In addition to the El Malpais, there is Chaco Canyon, Bandelier, and the Petroglyphs National Monument. The Petroglyphs in Albuquerque NM are always free, with a small parking fee on one part of it.  In celebration of Earth Day get out and enjoy the amazing National Parks & Monuments  of Albuquerque NM and surrounding areas!
